LIVE EVENTS

& COMMUNITY

Some things are better in person. Stories land differently when there's a room full of people who nod along. Connection feels different when it's not mediated by a screen. Lymbic live events are built on that premise.

We host storytelling evenings, community gatherings, workshops and special programming for people in recovery — and for everyone who loves someone in recovery, works with them, or is trying to understand addiction from the inside out.

Improv for Recovery Workshop

This workshop is taught by Jimmy Carrane who has taught improv for over 30 years at the Second CIty, IO-Chicago, The Annoyance Theater, The Laughing Academy and for Fortune 500 companies. He has written books on the subject and hosted a very popular podcast, Improv Nerd.

What to Expect

At these events, stories become bridges. Listening becomes connection. And community becomes a reminder that hope is not abstract — it’s shared, lived, and experienced together.

There’s no agenda. No pressure. Just an open invitation to be part of something real. A moment to breathe, to reflect, and maybe even walk away feeling a little lighter — and a little less alone.
